VTV Audio EXPO NY/NJ Show Report

by Charlie Kittleson

Our East Coast Show was a total success! 1400 attendees and over 40 press passes were given out. Major positive reviews on major webzines and magazines. All 40 exhibitors and vendors were ultra-pleased and many said this was the BEST AUDIO Show they have participated in. Most said they had much better room traffic than any of our competing shows!! This was an incredible event that will long be remembered by those who attended. The relaxing atmosphere of the tropical paradise inside the Piscatawy, NJ Embassy Suites was captivating. Everyone of the vendors was very pleased and so were the attendees. If you missed this show, you missed a great event. Next time one of these shows comes to town, get off your butt and come on down!

After the Expo, an exhibitor got over 20 calls from dealers who want to distribute his speakers!  Plus many more got reviews in web and print audio publications and had terrific exposure to the serious audiophiles from the Tri-State Area.

The 2005 VTV Audio and Music EXPO was a resounding success. This was the first Los Angeles regional audio and music show with both display tables and private vendor suites in many years. Over 1000 attendees and 42 paid vendors enjoyed two days of exotic audio equipment, interesting conversation,  vintage hi-fi and NOS tubes, tube school and exhibitors with state-of-the-art audio equipment for their listening enjoyment. This will be an annual event in Los Angeles, so if you didn't make it this year, check our site for the 2006 EXPO which will be bigger and better. We are planning a New York Show in late April as well. Check information below.

Brief Show Report: (more in a few days)

We had well over 1000+ attendees both days who loved the expo, visited our 43 paid vendors and bought lots of great audio and music goodies. Several vintage vendors were cleaned out in the first few hours of the show.

All of our vendors were pleased with their sales. One table vendor took in over $16,000 and another took in over $10,000.  Room exhibitors had steady traffic for most of the event.

Lots of great networking, great tube finds, vintage gear, great deals on guitars, amps, exotic parts, speakers, home theater and cables.

Everyone walked away with a smile on their face and asked when the next one is. The show had a great vibe, lots of happy people and a fun time was had by all!!!

Most Exhibitors in private display rooms told us several hundred people passed through each of the vendor's rooms, reviewing amps, speakers, cables, accessories, more.

The VTV  Audio-Video-Music Festivals are designed to open up  audio shows to the general public, bringing in more buyers, dealers and small manufacturers who normally could not afford the high fees charged by other organizations. Also, we want  to build a more healthy audio community with a better public image and a great networking opportunity for our passion and profession.
